Angel Island State Park

Auburn State Recreation Area/Mineral Bar

Bale Grist Mill State Historic Park

Note: This park is operated through an understanding with Napa County Regional Park and Open area District. The host place carries a complete hook-up campsite at Bothe-Napa Valley State Park, approx. 1 mile through the mill within the gorgeous top Napa Valley. The Bale Grist Mill is a 1850’s working flour mill with an extraordinary 36 base waterwheel. The Millers give trips on weekends plus some holidays monday. They run this machine that is magnificent milling entire grain into fabulous flour. College groups go to the mill within the fall and spring. Residing history fucntions are held in October and December, where in actuality the mill comes alive with regional volunteers and staff dressed up in duration clothing that is appropriate the 1850’s lifetime of very very early Napa Valley.
